THE ORIGIN OF SILENT COUNSELLING

Silent Counselling was developed by energy psychologists Marjorie and John Cooper in Dundee, Scotland. It emerged from the need to help a severely traumatized young woman who couldn’t speak about her experiences.

Drawing on their extensive knowledge of energy psychology and bio-energetic feedback, they created a technique that allowed her to release negative emotions without speaking. This technique, which proved incredibly effective, evolved into what we now know as Silent Counselling.
